How do ESW CSULB projects work?

ESW-CSULB is supported by enthusiastic members interested in sustainable projects.

Members can start projects by going through an application process that includes researching the project for feasiblity, necessary resources, budget estimates, etc.

Members can also join ongoing projects or pick up on any dropped projects.

For more information on the process and application forms to apply, click here to see our project documents (must be a website member to see, go to the top of the page to login/sign up).

Why are there so many "Vice President" positions?

Differentiating positions with commonly used titles (treasurer, secretary, etc.) may carry stereotypes of "who is more important." Every position contributes to make ESW-CSULB work smoothly.

ESW values collaboration over competition. While competition is an important element of a sustainable community, it's essential to work together and share knowledge to help develop efficient, long-lasting solutions.

Why are there restrictions on non-members?

We want to be on the same page in terms of mission and representation. We welcome students to give our organization a try, but we hope they will become members if they like what we do. Becoming a member helps us keep track of those who are active, and membership fees will directly support our efforts!
