We are a group of passionate and dedicated students, eager to use our knowledge to help integrate sustainable practices into our community. We do our best to make ESW CSULB run smoothly, efficiently, and make sure members can enjoy taking part in our activities.

President
Elina joined CSULB and ESW in the Spring of 2018 after transferring from Long Beach City College. She originally wanted to pursue a field in plant biology, but chose a different path after taking an introductory course in engineering. After looking at different majors, she decided to earn a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering because it can lead to many different fields. Elina saw mechanical engineering in everyday surroundings and aims to use this to solve environmental concerns. Some of the fields of interest include renewable energy, marine engineering, construction, and transportation. She has had a summer internship with a general contractor which focused on structual engineering. As a member of ESW she has participated in park cleanups and in the Aquaponics club project. As Vice President of Outreach and Events she hopes to raise awareness about environmental concerns with middle school students through interactive demonstrations.

VP of Finance
Open position - VP of Finance
The Vice President of Finances is responsible for all financial affairs, including fundraising, membership dues, and managing finances (2-5 hrs/wk).
Secretary
Open position - Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for the processing, filing, creation, accessibility, and management of all information and documents within ESW CSULB (5-7 hrs/wk).
VP of Public Relations
Open position - VP of Public Relations
The VP of Public relations is responsible for promoting and publicizing ESW activities, including events, projects, and accomplishments through social media, email blasts, newsletters, and copy materials (posters, flyers, handbills, banners, or brochures). When a VP of Marketing is in place, the VP of Public Relations will concentrate on electronic media only (5-10 hrs/wk).

The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for maintaining the chapter’s public image, and promoting the chapter’s accomplishments and opportunities through hard-copy marketing materials (3-5 hrs/wk).

AESB Representative
Webmaster
Open position - VP of Outreach & Events
The Vice President of Outreach & Events is responsible for bringing together the members of the ESW CSULB chapter, creating a close community within the organization on both a social and professional level. He/She shall plan and coordinate social and professional events for ESW CSULB that promotes and fulfills our mission, vision, and goals (3-7 hrs/wk).
Open position - AESB Representative
The AESB (Associated Engineering Student Body) Representative is responsible for facilitating communication and interdisciplinary cooperation between other engineering groups and ESW CSULB. The AESB consists of about nearly 40 CSULB engineering groups. Weekly meetings have historically been 1 hr, every other Friday (2-3 hrs/wk).
Open position - Webmaster
The Webmaster shall maintain the chapter’s website and promoting the chapter’s accomplishments and opportunities, working closely with the VP of Public Relations. The Webmaster is responsible for promoting and publicizing ESW activities, including events, projects, and accomplishments through the current website; designing, arranging, maintaining, and updating website content; and ensuring both desktop and mobile website versions are aesthetically organized and all hyperlinks are current and working (2-5 hrs/wk).
